Training at the Lake

On June 13^th, 2017, Thies & Talle held a regional training meeting for Regional Property Managers and Property Managers from areas such as Duluth, Hibbing, Mountain Iron, Grand Rapids, Fergus Falls, and Moorhead, MN as well as Fargo, ND.  Team members attending this training event traveled to the beautiful Chase on the Lake Resort and conference center, located in Walker, MN. The day started out with an overview of new updates and improvements that have been made to RealPage’s Mobile Facilities Maintenance application.  Updates to Facilities Plus include; new buttons to initiate, or complete service requests and inspections, an enhanced navigation interface, and a new workflow process on how to flag issues and assess damages.  Next up, the group reviewed the best practices when posting to Craigslist and Craigslist headline brainstorming!  Then before lunch, the group role played different phone and in person sales techniques.  The afternoon brought a great presentation about best practices when dealing with difficult situations.  To end the day, each property highlighted the different resident events that they have held at their property.  These events included root beer float day, outdoor movie night, ice cream truck Tuesdays, resident parties, gardening events, and many more!  Thank you to everyone who was part of making this another great Thies & Talle training event!
