UPDATE:
Results are in! Polly Odle beats out incumbent for Butte County Commission seat.
Polly Odle describes herself as fresh voice with a familiar face in Butte County. Polly is a long time resident of Butte County and with her husband raised five beautiful children near Nisland. You may know her already, but if not, you may have a chance to connect with her during her during her campaign for a seat on the Butte County Commission, District 2 in South Dakota.
Polly spent six years as the Director of Equalization & Planning for Butte County and she is the Property Manager at Canyon Estates in Spearfish, Live Center and Prairie West Apartments in Lemmon, for Thies & Talle Management, Inc. She is now ready to use that knowledge and experience to serve the people of Butte County in a new capacity.
Polly is not a career politician and this is her first campaign. “I've chosen to pursue this for a simple reason, but I think it's the best one, I love my community,” says Polly. A few things Polly is focusing on are property rights, the infrastructure of our roads and bridges, a balanced budget and the County Fair. Her love for the community and her commitment to the community is in the hope that the five children she has raised will one day choose to live and work in here too. Polly extends this hope to everyone who lives in Butte County, “My promise to you is that I'll approach this position with common sense, integrity, and a commitment to responsible progress and I'd be honored to have your vote.”
Thies & Talle Management would like to wish Polly the best of luck in the election and get out to vote on June 7th.
